It could be argued that these are some the most difficult of times right now to be serving in law enforcement and other public service disciplines. Extraordinary events around the country has drawn national attention and cast a dark shadow over those individuals that serve to protect.
The prolific use of social media and other media platforms has helped to fuel this fire by furthering the divide between communities, rather than focusing on what unites them. It’s often been said that negativity feeds the news cycle while positivity is often relegated to a footnote against visions and sounds of anger and divisiveness. We seek to help change that.
Beginning at the local level, with this Everyday Hero Award campaign, we strive to shed light on those that choose to selflessly serve and protect their communities. Our overall goal here is to help foster that connection between local law enforcement and the people within the communities that they serve.

How to Participate
The process of nominating someone to receive the Everyday Hero Award as recognition for their hard work is as easy as filling out the form below. Simply include a few details, provide a short paragraph on why you feel the Officer deserves this recognition award and we will do the rest!
Once the recipients have been identified, the award will be presented to them by their Police Chief inside a beautiful jar engraved with their name, along with a letter from his or her supporters containing the paragraphs written by you.
