ABOUT THE PUNT COIN:

The Irish Punt coin, otherwise known as the One Pound Coin was used in Ireland from 20 June 1990 until its formal adoption of the Euro in 2002. The last issue was minted in 2000. LulaRose works with collectors all over the world to identify and acquire Irish Punt coins. They are becoming increasingly difficult to find and expensive to purchase. Each coin comes to us, is inspected for its authenticity, gently cleaned and placed into the corresponding display. They are truly an amazing piece of Irish history and although we do not know what their future monetary value may be, any piece gifted will surely be considered priceless.
